Abstract: Sincebrazilian society is marked by successive events driven by economic and political interests of neoliberal capitalism. This table aims to discuss the participation of women in politics, from their insertion in the movement of resistance and occupation of public spacesand the refusal to silence, and the ruptures made to enter the political field that requires learning to play and make joints. Nas manifestções de rua, é possível perceber como as mulheres se expressam em diferentes espaços e diversas formas, através da arte, em manifestações coletivas, no grupo, na rua, nas redes sociais. Contraditoriamente, as mulheres têm protagonizado lutas intensas em diversas frentes, demonstrando que a luta política também tem protagonismos das mulheres, embora grande parte desta luta esteja invisível. Nesse momento, a rua também sofre transformações, é higienizada para que as famílias e as mulheres brancas possam circular. RAGO,p. Quando as mulheres começam a ocupar a rua de forma coletiva, tornam-se um perigo e por isso tem que ser contidas, controladas, cerceadas.
Espera-se que este estudo favoreça outras reflexões importantes sobre a realidade maranhense do futebol feminino e que as mulheres possam ser mais ouvidas e reconhecidas através do futebol. Abstract: The end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century marks a moment when Brazil sought to build its own identity in front of the modern world, following the global rhythm of adaptation to the process of development and industrialization of Modernity. The empowerment of bodies appears as an element of this process, as well as education for healthy and hygienic habits that, among other things, would meet the requirements for building a developed country with strong men to represent the nation. Inserted in this political and social scenario, soccer appears in Brazil, a sports modality that, despite English origins, soon appealed to Brazilians and Brazilians. But, traditionally, it has been considered a hegemonic masculine practice. However, the studies illustrate that such hegemony did not prevent women from seeking inclusion in this sport. In addition, it also aims to know the relationships between being a woman and playing football and contextualizing the national and maranhense soccer scene, as well as its repercussions on the practice of this masculine and feminine modality.
